UNet 2018 will be hosting a series of Workshops and Special Sessions, and invites the submission of proposals. Workshops and Special Sessions should complement the main conference tracks with new emerging topics of particular interest
to the community on the latest technical issues related to ubiquitous computing and networking. They could also consist of work done within the framework of a particular international project.
Workshops and Special Sessions offer a unique opportunity for in-depth discussions, where researchers and industry entities are invited to share their research and development results on specific areas and novel challenging topics. Both of Workshops and Special Sessions will be planned in parallel to the main UNet'18 program.
Papers submitted to Workshops or Special Sessions will have to be evaluated and peer-reviewed under the very same criteria of the main conference. Accepted papers will appear in the main conference proceedings.
A workshop should include a mix of regular papers, invited presentations and panels that encourage the participation of attendees in active discussion. It can be delivered in half or full day
Workshop proposals should be submitted by the prospective organizer(s) who will commit to promoting and handling the review process. A workshop proposal (maximum 5 pages) must include:
